The SANKALA is more than just a chopper; it’s a tribute to a legendary youth community from Teben Dayang Sibetan. Built by Kesatrian Garage, this Harley Evo-powered machine beautifully blends heritage, power, and craftsmanship. It embodies the spirit of fierce elegance that has defined the Sangkala community since 1989.
The build showcases a true old-school Harley Davidson chopper with custom work that reflects both power and class. The frame and tank are hand-built by Kesatrian Garage, featuring intricate Tenganan Art engravings. The custom drag bar handlebar is paired with Vans Cult grips for a unique, functional design. For the wheels and tires, the front features the Harley Davidson original paired with Firestone Ribbed tires, while the rear is made with the same Harley Davidson original and Firestone Champ Deluxe. The suspension includes a Springer VL style front and a Harley Davidson original Softail rear, providing both comfort and durability. The braking system is made up of original Harley Davidson disc brakes, with an MP (Machine Performance) front caliper and a Harley Softail original rear caliper. The gearbox is custom, with a kick-starter, adding to the bike’s old-school charm. Custom lighting, handmade accessories, and a striking black-and-chrome aesthetic complete the SANKALA, making it a fearless yet elegant machine that mirrors its legendary namesake.
The story behind the SANKALA is equally powerful. Named after Sangkala (Sang of Kala), meaning “moon-eating monster,” this chopper is a tribute to the youth community of Teben Dayang Sibetan, a group that gained a reputation in 1989 for being both fierce and noble. This bike is a physical representation of their legacy—powerful, untamed, yet sophisticated. It stands as a symbol of brotherhood, rebellion, and timeless class.
